Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain medical gas systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Check and repair oxygen, nitrous oxide, vacuum, air, and other medical gas pipelines for leaks or pressure issues.
  • Ensure compliance with medical gas piping standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of medical gas equipment.
  • Maintain and test gas storage tanks, regulators, and control valves.
  • Educate hospital staff and relevant personnel on the safe use of medical gas systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues quickly in emergency situations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on medical gas system installations and maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in Medical Gas Systems, Mechanical, or Plumbing.
  • Hands-on experience in medical gas piping, regulators, and control systems.
  • Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities is an advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints of medical gas systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and international standards (NFPA 99, HTM 02-01, etc.).
  • Expertise in pressure testing and gas leak detection.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
